How a piece is made

Measuring
We measure the room and agree the figures with you. Nothing is cut until the measurements are signed off.

Milling
Boards are selected for the piece, not the batch. Grain is matched across a top before thicknessing.

Joinery
Mortise-and-tenon frames, cut to fit rather than to a tolerance. A joint that holds without hardware is one less thing to fail.
04
Finish
Hand-oiled or waxed in the same building, then photographed in the room it was made for.
